10) Safety Protection

10.1 Overflow Safety

Provides secure working conditions to prevent sludge materials from reaching the vacuum pump. When the sludge level reaches a critical value, overflow safety stops the vacuum process automatically. The vacuum pump stops, the truck engine rpm decreases, the vacuum line shuts down and the operator warning buzzer runs.

10.2 Primary Shut-off

A ball float type, primary shut-off to prevent water from entering the pumping system due to an accidental overflow.

10.3 Secondary Shut-off

Mounted on the vacuum installation between the vacuum pump and the primary safety system; when the tank top overflow prevention valve fails, the sewage enters the secondary overflow prevention device and triggers the electronic liquid level.

10.4 Over-Pressure Safety Valve

Fitted in a suitable position, this device provides safety to the storage tank as the complete system. The valve is of a spring-loaded adjustable type and provides continuous relief when the system’s pressure exceeds the preset limit.

10.5 Vacuum Relief Valve

Mounted on the vacuum installation, providing secure working conditions in case of excessive vacuum force created in the vacuum tank.
